As as general policy, all items ordered from the website are shipped within 48 hours of our receiving the order. All bags are shipped via the least expensive method, which is usually USPS or UPS.
Caveat: If we are on vacation at the time you order we will ship the item within 48 hours of our return home. We will post on our website our vacation information.
Yes, the cost of shipping finally has caught up with us! There are lower cost items we can make and sell – at a retail outlet or art fair – and still make a reasonable profit. But on a web site these same profits just disappear with shipping small items. Therefor effective immediately we are implementing a $5 flat rate shipping charge on all orders less than $35 (not including sales tax). Note that this charge is based on the sum cost of items on the order, not including tax. We encourage you to if possible combine smaller orders if possible in order to eliminate a charge.
